Professional Experience

Handled many aspects of day-to-day operations in a luxury art and antique gallery, including but not limited to sales support, logistical operations, coordinating trade show operations, creating marketing content, and researching inventory. 

Studio Assistant, Julie Neill Designs, New Orleans (May 2017-August 2017)

Oversaw production of products from initial order to shipping to the client. Coordinated with salespeople, artists, electricians, and shipping companies. Photographed all products upon completion. Sent weekly reminders of upcoming deadlines to salespeople, sent outreach packages to potential clients on behalf of salespeople. Printed and filed monthly invoices and receipts, placed orders for supplies, and organized materials.

Photographer, Gulf Restoration Network (2016)

Participated in field mapping projects involving aerial photography in the gulf with balloon rigs cast off from small boats. Utilized organizational skills to sort and tag photos on GRN Flickr database. 

Photographer, National Park Service (2016)

Systematically archived headstones though photography at the Chalmette National Cemetery and Battlefield that are decaying rapidly due to toxic byproducts from nearby industrial plants.

Kids Versus Global Warming (I Matter Movement/Our Children’s Trust) (2011-2015)

A named plaintiff in the “Atmospheric Trust Lawsuit” (Alec L., et.al vs. US EPA, Department of Interior and Department of Agriculture) in the US District Court.  The lawsuit, brought by minors, argues that the Federal Government is not protecting the atmosphere for future generations because it has taken insufficient action to reduce global warming.  Case was dismissed in May 2012, appealed, and dismissed again in 2015 before it could reach the Supreme Court.  

My involvement included writing a personal declaration stating my own opinion of the negative impacts of climate change, planning meetings for lobbying efforts in Washington DC, attending a court hearing in the US District Court in San Francisco, and writing an op-ed about the lawsuit published in a national online newspaper “New American Media” in May 2012.

Meals on Wheels of San Francisco (2010-2015)

Support for MOW housebound client.  Buy groceries, pick up medicines, put away groceries, visit with client, help with miscellaneous household tasks

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (June 9, 2012)

Out of the Darkness Overnight.  Walked 18 miles over the course of one night and raised $1600 to fund suicide prevention advocacy, research, education, and awareness (Jun 9, 2012). 

San Francisco SPCA. (2012-2014)

High School Volunteer Program.  Attended training classes and volunteered weekly working with shelter dogs, assisting with their direct care, and being available to answer the public’s questions about adoption.
